Sankranthi Special Garelu

My 50th post.I m glad here to post my fiftyth post on my blog n luv to share with u all.
Wish u HAPPY SANKRANTHI to all,here is sankranthi special Garelu.Garelu is one of the traditonal breakfast for south indian people n every one loves this dish.This recipe is prepared as special recipe for every south indian festival.
Ingredients
Urad Dal(Minnapappu)-1cup
Onion-1small
Green Chillies-3
Salt-as req
Water-1/2cup
Curry Leaves-few
Oil-for deep fry


Preparation
Soak urad dal over nite in water.Chop onions,green chillies,curry leaves n keep a side.

Method
Blend urad dal coarsly as in fig with 1/2 cup of water.Now add all chopped onions,green chillies,curry leaves,salt in the batter well n keep a side for few mins.Now pour oil in kadai for deep fry n let it heat   on medium flame.Now apply water on left palm n take few batter n press on palm with righthand fingers(it should be in circular shape) n make hole in the middle of it n drop it in the oil n fry it until its done n transfer it to bowl with napkin.Serve it with sambar,coconut chutney.
